Kevin Stevenson

I have been working in the helping professions since 2006, firstly as a teacher and now as a counselling therapist. I have extensive experience in the volunteer sector and find that providing services to the public with open access is beneficial for a holistic society. I consider myself a Humanistic therapist that is client and strength oriented, utilizing Solution-Focused and CBT techniques. I am open to working with adults and couples.

I am developing my own approach to therapy in collaboration with a Chartered Psychologist of the Psychological Society of Ireland. I am also Clinically Supervised by a member of the Gestalt Institute. I have a PhD in Philosophy, MA in Psychotherapy and an HBA in Social Sciences. Having lived in several countries, I have questioned my own self deeply and have received my own therapy as a requirement for my MA.  

I am an Individual Member of the British Association of Counsellors and Psychotherapists and follow their Ethical Guidelines.
